Will Georgina ever learn to do only 1 thing at a time? Doubtful!!!! First off, George wants a car. She sees on online and goes to the dealership and finds it. She talks to the saleslady and all but begs for the car. It has been promised to someone else, BUT if George can purchase it before the other person gets there the next day the car is hers. George gets the money and the saleslady, Bianca, brings the car to her. George goes off on a beach day off in her new car when Jasper just keeps whinning and whimpering at her car. She pulls over and Jasper starts to jump and scratch at the trunk. When George opens it....there's a dead body! Car gets confiscated by the police. So George goes back to the craft store all bummed out. That's when she finds out about the DIY wedding that Hannah and Joshua are doing. They are buying up all her jars for this project and need more. Then Hannah convinces George to help, well actually DIY the wedding for them! All this time she trying to get her car back and find out who was the dead guy. Can George figure out why that body was put in her trunk? What about the wedding? This is a cozy mystery and was a fast read but just OK. I really didn't care for the main character, Georgina. She does not seem all that crafty and very judgmental. She goes to a craft circle and doesn't even remember that she is doing a wedding. I really didn't like the treatment of Adam the ex. You can have a better job than bag boy without a college degree. I give him props for having a job and trying. Maybe because this is into the series I'm just missing something. I might try and read the other books in the series.
A good fun, cozy mystery, Stacey Alabaster is very clever at producing unusual twists on the cozy mystery genre, and this is one of her best ones.
I love the characters, who are all sketched out very well, some you love, some you hate and some irritate you, just as the author intends.
The plot is once again very clever, with the reader being guided along towards suspecting several different suspects, and the real culprit only being revealed at the end, I have to admit that I didn't guess who it was until a couple of huge clues were thrust in front me!
Reading this book is a fun, satisfying way to spend an hour or so.

I find the author is trying to do quantity instead of quality and these books are a good example compared to the first two books of the series. The characters are not getting smarter or being developed into likable and interesting people. The actions of the characters are silly or down right dumb. Some of the stuff the author puts in her books are either from lack of real knowledge/research or thought in plot development. I've read four and skimmed the rest of this series and can't recommend the books. I liked the first two, but recognized the characters, the plots and background information weren't going to improve.
Steps from Death #1- The first book of the Craft Circle series is the introduction of all the characters and explains why unlikable Brenda is working in the shop. I found Georgina lacking backbone, making bad decisions and allowing Brenda to run over her. 3 stars

Talk about a bad car buying experience! More fun and mystery from Georgina and Stacy Alabaster, Does she ever get a break? A fun fast-paced read and there IS a wedding!!!
Was a really good fast read and a very interesting outcome. I would recommend this b oil to all of my friends. I will read more of these books. Thank to the author.
I have read many of this authors books.This one I found myself really disliking.The problem is the character Brenda.If this person could hold a job in the real world,I would be amazed.There is really no resolution to any character except the murderer.I hate to say,but I am done with Stacey.
